CSM Leonardtown Wellness and Aquatic Center Maintenance Update; Pools Expected to Reopen Sept. 6

leon pool — The College of Southern Maryland’s Wellness, Fitness and Aquatics Department is changing Sunday hours for the La Plata and Leonardtown campus facilities; beginning Jan. 6, these facilities will operate from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays. Fitness Center, Group Exercise Resumes Hours Sept. 4; Competition, Therapy Pools Expected to Resume Hours Sept. 6

The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) is completing maintenance on its Wellness and Aquatics Center in Building D at the Leonardtown Campus, 22950 Hollywood Road in Leonardtown. Work includes draining of the competition pool with a new plaster coat and the installation of a floor of the fitness center and painting.

The fitness center and group exercise rooms will resume normal hours on Tuesday, Sept. 4.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the competition and therapy pools at the Leonardtown Campus will remain closed an additional day and they are anticipated to open on Thursday, Sept. 6 and we apologize for any inconvenience. There will be no open swim, aquatic classes, swim lessons or swim clinic at the Leonardtown Campus on Sept. 4 or 5.
