Event Raises Scholarship Funds for Victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault

The College of Southern Maryland is hosting the 10th annual Zonta RAVE (Rape and Violence Eradication) Walk 5K in memory of Gayle A. Cooke, a former crime victims support coordinator for the Charles County States Attorneys Office. Proceeds from the RAVE Walk fund a scholarship in Cookes name which provides educational financial assistance at CSM to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and supports the operations of Gayle's House, the first domestic violence safe house in Charles County. $25.
