Maryland Governor’s Grants Office Director Eric Brenner provided opening remarks for the Seventh Annual Grant Training Seminar at the College of Southern Maryland Aug. 24. “I believe that CSM was the first community college to host the community in a grant training workshop,” said Brenner, adding that as more people are asking for the same ‘slice of pie’ it is important for organizations to become skilled in asking for federal and foundation funding. More than 130 people registered for the event sponsored by Maryland Governor’s Grants Office, Charles County Government, Charles County Public Schools, Charles County Public Library, Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland and CSM.
