The Southern Maryland Studies Center (SMSC) hosted Share Your History: Working the Land and Water on Oct. 20 at CSM’s Prince Frederick Campus. Community members brought historical documents and photographs which were scanned and kept as digital files under the property of SMSC and Calvert County Historical Society. The Southern Maryland Studies Center (SMSC) hosted Share Your History: Working the Land and Water on Oct. 20 at CSM’s Prince Frederick Campus. Community members brought historical documents and photographs which were scanned and kept as digital files under the property of SMSC and Calvert County Historical Society. The SMSC archives house more than 200 unique collections consisting of personal papers, records of local businesses and organizations, manuscript material, photographic material, rare books, maps, architectural drawings, oral history interviews, and other audiovisual material dating from the 18th century to the present.
