Ward Virts Young Artist and Community Series Present Alexander Dean and Lori Dean. April 15, 3 p.m., College of Southern Maryland, Prince Frederick Campus,115 J.W. Williams Road, Prince Frederick. Join violinist Alexander and his wife, pianist Lori Dean in a night of Bach, Beethoven and Claude Debussy. A 20-year member of the U.S. Air Force Strings, Mr. Dean has performed as the group's principle 2nd violinist for the last eight years. He is the music director for the Air Force Strolling Strings. For eight years, Ms. Dean performed as an accompanist for the Singing Sergeants, the official chorus of the Air Force. She currently teaches piano for the College of Southern Maryland. Ward Virts Young Artist and Community Series Presents Sheldon Goldberg and Ramona Crowley. March 30, 7 p.m., College of Southern Maryland, Prince Frederick Campus, 115 J.W. Williams Road, Prince Frederick. Enjoy an evening of classical and American music with pianist Sheldon Goldberg and soprano Ramona Crowley. As a member of the famed Westminster Choir, Ms. Crowley has performed under conductors such as Leonard Bernstein, Leopold Stokowski and Lorin Maazel. Dr. Goldberg has studied classical and jazz piano and participated as music director, pianist and composer for numerous Georgetown University musical productions.
