Nonprofit Conference to Feature Leader, Author Don Tebbe as Keynote, March 28

            The College of Southern Maryland Nonprofit Institute’s Fourth Annual Conference, March 28 at the La Plata Campus, will feature a keynote address by nationally known nonprofit leader Don Tebbe.

            Executive vice president of TransitionGuides and author of “For the Good of the Cause: Board Building Lessons from Highly Effective Nonprofits,” Tebbe will share experience and insight generated by years of experience helping nonprofits with a focus at building effective leadership and handling leadership transitions.

            The conference begins at 8 a.m. with check-in and continental breakfast, followed by the keynote address at 9:15 a.m. Two morning sessions are followed by a networking lunch and two afternoon sessions. The conference tracks are Boards, Fundraising, Management and Marketing and include 16 workshops including “Fundraising from A to Z,” “Marketing’s First Rule: Know Your Client,” “Raising Money Online” and “Stalking the Major Gift.” For a list of all workshops, visit
