Carl Lennartson’s Exhibit, Inspired by T.S. Elliot, on Display Through Jan. 18

Artist Carl Lennartson’s exhibit “The Hollow Men,” is on display through Jan. 18 in the Tony Hungerford Memorial Gallery located in the Fine Arts Building on CSM’s La Plata Campus, 8730 Mitchell Road, La Plata. During the recent Dec. 1 gallery talk, Lennartson discussed his work inspired by the T.S. Elliot poem. “It’s easy to be inspired by T.S. Elliot, because there is so much imagery in his words, that they are a springboard for visual interpretation,” said Lennartson. The exhibit is free and open to the public, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday and during Fine Arts events. The college will close at 3 p.m. Dec. 23 for winter break and reopen Jan. 4. 301-934-7828 or 301-870-2309, 240-725-5499, 443-550-6199, Ext. 7828www.csmd.edu/Finearts.
