College of Southern Maryland students on the Prince Frederick Campus move between classes during the first week of the fall semester. In addition to certificate and associate degree programs, students have opportunities to hone leadership skills through clubs and national honor societies; explore the world through travel study programs to Istanbul, Belize, Gambia and United Kingdom; broaden their cultural awareness with theater and music performances and fine arts exhibits; and participate in 12 collegiate sports. CSM students transferred successfully, both in-state and out-of-state, to 441 different colleges and universities in 45 states and the District of Columbia in the last year. CSM has guaranteed admission agreements with more than nine colleges and universities and more than 30 program specific articulation agreements with colleges and universities including Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, UMD, UMUC, Bowie State University, Morgan State and Capitol College.
