CSM Theatre Club: Staged Readings of The Mitchells of Linden and Swimming with Whales. 7:30 p.m., Nov. 18 and 19, College of Southern Maryland, Fine Arts Center, 8730 Mitchell Road, La Plata. The College of Southern Maryland Theatre Club is presenting the readings of The Mitchells of Linden and of Swimming with Whales. Each reading is one hour in length. The Mitchells of Linden is an encore of the first performance ever held at the Fine Arts Center and is being read in celebration of the centers 30th anniversary. Swimming with Whales was written by Bob Bartlett, a former student at the college during the 1980s, and is being read in Southern Maryland before production begins in New York City. $10 for tickets, cash only. http://www.csmd.edu/Arts.
