College of Southern Maryland softball team will have returning sophomores Lauren Fairfax (Great Mills), Kaitlyn Fernald (Chopticon) and Rachel Bilbra (La Plata) to lead a talented group of freshman. Sophomore Kaylynn Balleaux (Thomas Stone) will handle the majority of the pitching duties as will freshman Kelci Therres (Thomas Stone) and Megan Windsor (Douglas). Freshman Brittany Bowen (La Plata), Alexis Gayan (North Point), Tiffany Agustinelli (La Plata), Jen Nagy (Chopticon), Taylor Calvert (Lackey), Tori Wright (Lakey) and Brooke Garner (Thomas Stone) will all play pivotal roles for the Hawks in order to have a successful this season. “We have high expectations and are confident that this talented group can have a winning season,” said CSM Head Softball Coach Mike Garner.
