College of Southern Maryland President Dr. Maureen Murphy and Comcast’s Yolanda Vazquez talked recently about the Velocity Center to be located in Indian Head as a location for innovation and technology workforce development to occur, Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford’s recent announcement of the E-Nnovation award to CSM, and the success of the college foundation’s “Make An Impact” campaign and challenge to raise $2 million for scholarships over the next year.
