The National Association of Publicly Funded Truck Driving Schools (NAPFTDS) held its annual regional conference Oct. 8-9 at the College of Southern Maryland’s La Plata Campus. The two-day conference touched on meeting the training needs of local companies, legislative issues, strategies for teaching the adult learner and updates from NAPFTDS President and John Wood Community College (Ill.) Assistant Professor Phil Steinkamp and American Truck Association (ATA) Vice President of Safety, Security and Operations Dave Oseicki.
