Most administrative offices and services of the College of Southern Maryland will be unavailable the afternoon of Friday, Sept. 25 as faculty and administration gather for the college's sixth annual All-College Convocation on the La Plata Campus.
The Leonardtown and Prince Frederick campuses will close at 11 a.m. and the La Plata Campus will close at 11:45 a.m. Fitness centers and/or pools at each location will also close at 11 a.m. and 11:45 a.m., respectively.
Classes, personal enrichment courses and CSM's St. Charles Children?s Learning Center will operate on a normal schedule.
The convocation will bring together faculty and staff as one college to collaborate and celebrate one of the college's core values, teamwork. As part of that value, staff and faculty are working together to collect 1,000 jars of peanut butter that will be donated to food pantries in Calvert, Charles and St. Mary?s counties.
During the All-College Convocation, online access will be available at www.csmd.edu and through my.CSMD services. Classes for the Fall Mini II Session will begin Oct. 26.
