Earlier this year, the CLC, located at the La Plata Campus, was awarded a Chaney Foundation Beautification Grant of $1,500 to create a natural play area on the center’s playground. Thanks to the grant, the center was able to purchase an outdoor art easel with both clear and chalkboard panels, a half-slab bench, a natural balance beam, xeriscape planters and wood “cookies.” For information on the CLC at CSM, visit http://clc.csmd.edu/.
