CSM Begins Friday Night Lecture Series Update

Chesapeake Bay restoration, Bob Dylan and America's healthcare are the featured topics of the College of Southern Maryland's Friday Night Lecture Series debuting this semester at each of the college's campuses.

CSM's Friday Night Lecture Series is free, open to the public and features experts from the college discussing various topics. The series will rotate among the three campuses and provides an opportunity to build community through enriching discussions.

The series will continue March 9 with CSM Dean of Arts and Sciences Dr. Timothy Keating as he presents “Bob Dylan: Poetics of Love, Anger and Doom,” at the Leonardtown Campus, Building A, Auditoruium.

The April lecture will focus on “Healthcare in the U.S.: Play Now or Pay Later” with presenters Sandy Genrich, chair of the nursing and health technology department, and Bob Schaller, chair of business, economics and legal studies department. The lecture will be April 20, at the La Plata Campus, Learning Resources Center, LR102.
