College of Southern Maryland students were recognized for their creativity

College of Southern Maryland students were recognized for their creativity, innovation, design and artistic viewpoints at the Spring 2016 Annual Juried Student Exhibition and Awards reception at the Tony Hungerford Memorial Art Gallery on the La Plata Campus. Finalists included Linda Curtis of Brandywine for ceramics, Donna Wilson of Waldorf for photography/graphic design, Gary Alexander Crisostomo of Accokeek for painting/drawing and Linda Gottfried of Cobb Island for jurors' prize. Faculty purchase prizes went to Jessa Arian A. Mayo of Waldorf and Selene La Marca of Bryans Road. During the ceremony Nataline Beckley of Upper Marlboro, William Watson of Clinton and Bryce Gordon Demby of White Plains were named as recipients of the Walter B. Grove II Memorial Art Scholarship.
