CSM Auditions for The Pirates of Penzance. 6-9 p.m., Sept. 15 & 16. College of Southern Maryland, La Plata Campus, Fine Arts Building, 8730 Mitchell Road, La Plata. Auditions are open for those 14 years of age and older for the College of Southern Marylands musical theatre production The Pirates of Penzance, libretto by W.S. Gilbert and music by Arthur Sullivan. To audition, prepare 16 bars of a musical piece, and bring piano accompaniment for the pianist. Also, prepare a short memorized monologue and expect cold readings from the script.
