St. Charles Children’s Learning Center Students Celebrate Independence Day

Students at the St. Charles Children’s Learning Center paraded with red, white and blue flags, hats and streamers for parents, grandparents, faculty, administrators and students at the College of Southern Maryland’s La Plata Campus in celebration of Independence Day. Following the parade, a flag that was created using hand and footprints of CLC students was available for signing messages to service men and women. The flag will be on display at Patuxent River Naval Air Station to welcome troops that return from service overseas, according to CLC Director Lynn Duff.
