College Provides Classroom for Two-Week Crash Reconstruction School
You guys are so specialtheres not enough one can say about how you have responded when we needed you, Calvert County Sheriff Mike Evans told College of Southern Maryland Director of Administrative Services Gladys Jones as he presented the Sheriffs Salute to Jones and the college Nov. 23. The feeling was mutual as Jones responded, You are here for us, too. This partnership means so much to the college.
Evans presented the award for Jones support of the Sheriffs Department in coordinating numerous training exercises and drills, and for securing classroom space for a two-week Crash Reconstruction School last April that was attended by law enforcement personnel from around the state. Jones, center, of Port Republic is a lifelong Calvert County resident who has worked at CSM for more than 17 years. She is joined by Evans, left, and Calvert County Sheriffs Department Cpl. Vlad Bortchevsky, the countys crash reconstruction coordinator.
