Myths, Legends, Music and Morals On Stage, March 2-3
The College of Southern Maryland’s Children’s Theatre invites the audience to travel the globe with a band of wacky storytellers as part of “Around the World in 8 Plays” March 2 and 3 with tales from Brazil, Russia, South Africa, Japan and more.

The performance features colorful costumes, unique music and dance, and silly puppets, as stories unwind, ranging from the sublime (an orphaned boy makes a true friend in the Little Sister of the Sun) to the grotesque (eating a pigeon’s dropping saves an ailing princess).
Performances are 7 p.m., March 2 and 2 and 7 p.m., March 3 at CSM’s Fine Arts Center in La Plata. Tickets are $7 for adults and seniors, and $5 for children high school age and younger. For information, contact the Box Office at bxoffc@csmd.edu or 301-934-7828, of visit www.csmd.edu/Arts.
