CSM/UMUC Open House at the Waldorf Center for Higher Education. Jan. 7, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Waldorf Center for Higher Education, 3261 Old Washington Road, Waldorf. This program-specific open house will feature information on business administration, criminal justice, information systems management and management studies programs that are available through the CSM/UMUC dual alliance program. Faculty members from both colleges will be available to answer questions. During the Jan. 7 Open House, UMUC Southern Maryland Location Scholarships of $1,000 for the spring semester will be granted on the spot to students who have at least a 2.5 GPA from a transfer institution, are a new student to UMUC, enroll in at least six credits for spring 2009 and take at least one face-to-face class at the Waldorf Center.
