Chautauqua Opens Series at La Plata Campus July 5, 6, 7

The College of Southern Maryland’s (CSM) Twilight Performance Series returns this summer with a new line-up to include both history and music. The free, family-friendly, outdoor performance series will feature artists performing a variety of music from bluegrass and folk to blues, jazz, motown, hip hop, rhythm and blues and classic rock at campuses in La Plata, Leonardtown and Prince Frederick.

This year will feature President of the Confederate States of America Jefferson Davis; President of the United States of America, Abraham Lincoln; and African American abolitionist, humanitarian and Union spy, Harriet Tubman.
