Students Teaching Students at CSM’s Children’s Learning Center

The St. Charles Children’s Learning Center at the College of Southern Maryland hosted a health and safety learning workshop, March 8. First-semester students in CSM’s nursing program came in to demonstrate good health and safety practices including accurate tooth brushing, hand washing, home safety and nutritious eating habits. Nursing students also assisted in recording the Center’s students’ weight and height. Here Alicia Chavarria, left, demonstrates on a stuffed animal what she has learned from nursing student Erin Ferrara on how to properly brush your teeth.
