CSMs Connections Contributors to Read from Spring Edition, April 26
Poetry, prose and photography by local writers and photographers are among the selections published in the College of Southern Marylands Spring 2013 Connections Literary Magazine. Contributors to the magazine will be showcased during the Literary Magazine Reading, beginning at 7:30 p.m., April 26, in the Center for Business and Industry (BI), Dr. John M. Sine Room BI-103 at the La Plata Campus.
Continuing the long-standing tradition of connecting established and emerging authors with the community, the Connections series is an opportunity to connect and inspire people who may not realize that they have an interest, or talent, in the arts. CSMs Neal Dwyer, a literature and languages professor as well as a coordinator of the colleges Connections programs and literary magazine, explains this is accomplished not only through the writers who are featured as guest speakers each semester but also through the colleges twice-yearly literary magazine that features the poetry, stories, artwork and photography of Southern Maryland residents.
Among those contributing to this springs magazine are Christina DAngelo, George L. White, Anna Readen, Judith Allen-Leventhal, Jeremy D. Lambert, April Ramey (Taylor), Randolph Bridgeman, Sean Breslin, Eileen Doherty, Desiree Glass, Wayne Karlin, Sophia Minshall, William Poe, Dee Sydnor, Judy Angelheart, Paul Toscano, Wendy Kibler, Sean Frost, Lydia Kivrak, Patrick Allen, Benjamin Sloan, Sherbrooke Lea Carson, William Readen.
