CSM Calendar: Meet the Artist, Reception: The Wasteland: Photographs by George Bedell. 6:30 p.m., Nov. 4, College of Southern Maryland, Fine Arts Center, Tony Hungerford Memorial Art Gallery, La Plata Campus, 8730 Mitchell Road, La Plata. Photographer and CSM Professor George Bedell will discuss his latest works at a Meet the Artist event and reception sponsored in part by Ann Marie Burmeister. Tickets are $20 for the general public and $10 for CSM faculty and students. Ticket holders will be automatically eligible for a drawing of one of his pieces.
