Department Earns 3 Awards from NCMPR
The College of Southern Maryland Marketing Department staff has been recognized with three awards at the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) annual district conference in Providence, Rhode Island.
Efforts receiving recognition were gold awards for videos of REAL STUDENTS. REAL STORIES. produced as part of the colleges marketing campaign and its Student Handbook and Academic Planner. A silver award was presented for the colleges Facebook social networking efforts. Since 2004 CSM has received 26 NCMPR medallions. The awards recognize outstanding achievement and excellence in community, technical and junior college efforts. NCMPRs District 1 includes Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Quebec, and United Kingdom.
