Center for Trades and Energy Training Grand Opening. 5 to 7 p.m., September 24, College of Southern Maryland Center for Trades and Energy Training, 17 Irongate Drive, Waldorf. The community is invited to attend the grand opening for CSMs new 17,858-square-foot facility that will house non-credit construction career starter, apprenticeship and advanced skills programs. Ribbon-cutting 5:30 to 6 p.m. followed by tours of electrical, welding, HVAC and carpentry labs. Free.
