13th Annual Grants Training Free Seminar Set for Sept. 21
Plan to attend the 13th Annual Grant Training Seminar at the College of Southern Maryland (CSM) La Plata Campus Sept. 21 for people who want to learn how to create and use a logic model – a visual representation of an initiative’s activities, outputs and expected outcomes.
Enoch Pratt Free Library Grants Collection Specialist Anna Tatro will present at the free event and guide participants through all of the steps necessary to better prepare grant proposals and submissions, and learn the difference between a goal and an objective in the process. Attendees will also learn the benefits and limitations of logic models.
This seminar is strongly recommended for anyone who writes grant proposals for nonprofit organizations, county and state agencies, academic institutions or civic associations.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the College of Southern Maryland La Plata Campus, Center for Business and Industry (BI Building), Chaney Enterprises Conference Room 113. CSM La Plata Campus is located at 8730 Mitchell Road in La Plata.
