Second Annual Young Women of Color Conference for Girls. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Oct. 24, College of Southern Maryland, La Plata Campus, Center for Business and Industry BI-113, 8730 Mitchell Road, La Plata. Dr. Edith Patterson, CSMs director of education talent search, and Linda Morales, CSMs executive director of diversity and equal opportunity, will be featured guest speakers at the Second Annual Young Women of Color Conference presented by Young Women of Distinction, Hip Hop Education and CSM.
