Omaha Theater Company Presents If You Give a Cat a Cupcake Performance at CSM. 7 p.m., Jan. 28, College of Southern Maryland, La Plata Campus, Fine Arts Building, 8730 Mitchell Road, La Plata. The College of Southern Maryland Childrens Theater series hosts a production of If You Give a Cat a Cupcake presented by the Omaha Theater Company. The production, based on the book written by Laura Numeroff and illustrated by Felicia Bond, is adapted for the stage by Brian Guehring. The story centers around a cat and his human friend Laura. The cat asks Laura for some sprinkles, naturally they spill all over the floor and then the hijinks ensue. The audience takes a world-wind tour following the antics of the cat as he travels to the beach, the gym, the mountain, the museum and the lake.
